In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren that allows us to share the books we’ve received during the week via our purchases, review copies, library checkouts, borrowing from friends, etc.

My weekend trip has passed, allowing for my very short book buying ban to come to an end! Here are my recent purchases, as well as the books I have for review this week.

• Hourlgass by Myra McEntire (purchased) – Hourglass was released during my little ban and it was super hard not to cave in and get it. Glad to have it in my possession now!
• A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young (purchased) – LOOK AT HOW SHINY IT IS. This was a lovely read, my review should be up soonish.
• Legend by Marie Lu (from Lis) – My own book fairy godmother. Luff her. <3 I've been excited for this so YAY for getting an early peek!
• Solstice by P.J. Hoover (purchased) + swag – I have been very curious about Solstice. I mean, c’mon, dystopia AND mythology? Sign me up! I read the first five chapters during my ban and I’m excited to get to the rest. The lovely Ms. Hoover also mailed out some some cool cards which you can view in the photo.
• The Mephisto Covenant by Trinity Faegen (for review) – I’ve heard some great buzz for this title and the setup sounds like something I’ll absolutely devour.
• Sometimes It Happens by Lauren Barnholdt (for review) – I hadn’t read anything by Lauren Barnholdt and this looked like a good place to start. It was very addicting! Review soon.
• Witchlanders by Lena Coakley (for review) – This sounds so epic and different, plus I believe it’s a male MC? That will definitely be a nice change of pace.
