I haven’t actually bought/received that much, but I haven’t done an IMM since the end of October, so I thought I would go ahead and do one now. My haul:

The Traitor in the Tunnel by Y.S. Lee (for review) – Mary! James! Cialina’s buzz post made me 100x more excited for this. Can’t wait!
Insignia by S.J. Kincaid (won/for review) – I featured this in a WoW post a while back AND I’m the first person S.J. Kincaid has signed a book for. How cool is that?! I want to read this RIGHTTHISSECOND, but it’s a 2012 debut so I’m going to try to hold out a few weeks.
The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa (purchased) – My review is here.
The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour (won/for review)
The Probability of Miracles by Wendy Wunder (purchased)
Legend by Marie Lu (purchased) – Finished copy for a book I adored! My review is here.
Pure by Julianna Baggott (for review) – Such a crazy and amazing read! Also, this book gave me a heart attack when I opened it, haha. My review will be up next year.
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare (purchased) – If you’ve followed the blog this year, you know how badly I’ve wanted this book. It was SO.EFFING.GOOD. My review will be up soon!
This Dark Endeavor by Kenneth Oppel (purchased) – Frankenstein! Plus, the Kindle edition is only $1.99. Get on that, people!
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi (for review) – One of my most anticipated titles for sure and another 2012 deb.
Everneath by Brodi Ashton (for review) – My review is here.
Larkstorm by Dawn Rae Miller (for review) – Read my review here and you can now find the book available on amazon, smashwords, etc. Check it out!
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman (for review) – Dragons! + 2012 debut

Thank you to Candlewick, S.J. Kincaid, LibraryThing, Julianna Baggott, Dawn Rae Miller, and Netgalley! What’s in your mailbox this week?

I’m going to Vegas again in two weeks so I’m going to try to resist buying books until after the trip. Until then, here is my haul this week:

The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg (for review/won) – This sounds sooo good and it has a blurb by Lauren Oliver. This will probably be my next read.
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater (purchased) – I still need to finish up the Wolves of Mercy Falls books, but I’m really looking forward to this.
Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel (purchased) – Great reviews + zombies! Yay!
The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson (library checkout) – I’ve heard good things and that it’s sort of creepy, so it’s perfect for this time of year.
Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (for review) – I haven’t seen too much about this title but it sounded good to me!
The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima (for review) – I’ve wanted to check out Chima’s books and, lucky me, it’s Netgalley’s flashback title.

Thanks to the LAPL, Dial, Disney-Hyperion, EgmontUSA, LibraryThing, and Netgalley!

My haul this week:

Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon (purchased) – I’ve been curious about this since I first heard of it and now I can finally check it out. I’ve been reading some iffy reviews, but I’m looking forward to forming my own opinion soon.
Leisl & Po by Lauren Oliver (purchased) – I don’t really read middle grade, but Lauren Oliver is an author I would follow anywhere because her writing is so beautiful. This book is really gorgeous, too.
Hallowed by Cynthia Hand (for review) – HAPPY FANGIRL SQUEE!!! is what happened when this landed in my mailbox. I finished it Friday night and it was wonderful. My review won’t be up until closer to publication, but I will say this for now: Cynthia Hand absolutely delivered.
Want to Go Private? by Sarah Darer Littman (purchased) – Cialina’s review brought this book to my attention a while ago and I thought it would be an interesting, intense read. I put in a request for the LAPL to get it for their online catalog, but I decided to just buy it for the iPad last night.
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (library checkout) – I planned on buying this on its release date, but mixed reviews kept coming in and I held back. I added myself to the LAPL waiting list and finally snagged it yesterday.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer (for review) – This was recommended to me via e-mail and I thought it sound really cool. When I saw that it was on netgalley, I immediately put in a request for it. I can’t wait to get to it!

Thanks to HarperTeen, the Los Angeles Public Library, Feiwel & Friends, and Netgalley!

Good stuff this week!

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness (purchased) – Though I still need to read the other two books in the trilogy, I love The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness so I was curious to check out this new book by him. The incoming reviews have been all positive. It’s such a gorgeous book!
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (purchased) – Already reviewed this here. This is a second copy that has since been passed on to my BFF.
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (purchased) – LOVELOVELOVE. What a great and crazy read. My review will be up this week!
Psych Major Syndrome by Alicia Thompson (purchased) – I’ve wanted this for a while and finally got my hands on a copy. It sounds adorable and it’s set in college. Yay for older characters!
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare (purchased) – My second copy of this. Sigh. I lent my original to someone and I doubt I’ll get it back. With Clockwork Prince coming up soon, I wanted a re-read so I just went ahead and bought it again.

Only two books this week, and I’ve already read both, but I love and adore them to pieces and they’re definitely in my top five reads from this year. So, so happy to have finished copies on my shelf!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (purchased) – Read my review and enter for a signed copy here. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK. Also, random, but I made room for it on my desk shelf and it stands out from everything else because of its height. I may need to put it next to the Potters.

The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson (purchased) – I loved this book something fierce as well, so I hope you check it out! My review is here.
