Happy 2013, everyone! I hope this year brings you much happiness and success.
I took part in a few challenges last year, but I absolutely failed in keeping track so I am only doing two this year:
Goodreads Reading Challenge
Goal: 100 books.
I didn’t even reach this number in 2012, just barely missing it, but I think I can do it. Still, as this past year proved, life can get a little hectic so I’m not going to freak out if I fall behind. As Maggie Stiefvater tweeted the other day: “In 2012, I sort of thought “I’m going to read as many books as I can!” I think in 2013, it’ll be “I’m going to love as many books as I can!” YES.
2013 Debut Author Challenge – Hosted by Hobbitsies
Goal: 15 books.
I read (roughly) 23 debuts in 2012 so I think this is a good number. This was a favorite challenge of mine in 2011 so I definitely look forward to discovering new authors and books. Hopefully I can keep track of what’s a debut and what’s not because I think I struggled with that a bit in 2012.
Other goals:
• Write reviews right after. It sucks to do it months later. I really hope I can do this one!!
• Expand the blog with posts that aren’t reviews and memes.
• I did slow down with requesting books in 2012 so I want to continue with that.
• Read outside of my comfort zone.
Anyway, onto the giveaway! Read on, people.
To celebrate the new year, as well as my (belated) two year blogoversary, I am offering a book of choice from the titles below, all of which I read and loved or am eagerly looking forward to:

If the book hasn’t been released by the time the giveaway ends, it will be a pre-order. Book will be shipped from the Book Depository. Enter the giveaway and view all the terms and conditions in the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!

2013 Debut Author Challenge – Hosted by

YES. I really like and agree with what Maggie Stiefvater said. It was all too easy to get caught up in trying to meet a goal and not just ENJOY the books.
2013 – the year we are reunited in NYC and the year we will watch Zayn’s audition video!
My fave book was the Scorpio Races and I am also eagerly anticipating Isla and the Happily Ever After.
My favorite YA books of the year were The Scorpio Races and Daughter of Smoke & Bone.
My favorite book of 2012 was Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger.
If I was to write a goal list out, mine would look much like yours.
Easy, and you already knew it: Tiger Lily.
Yes I’m replying to my own comment because I had more to say: I love that Maggie Stiefvater tweet and I’m also slowing down with requesting books this year. We’re awesome.
100 books! That’s twice my goal for the year. Oh don’t mind me staring at my sneakers here…
I love seeing what other interests a bibliophile has so I’m glad to hear you plan on expanding your blog~
Also, what awesome prizes! I’ve read some of them (and loved them) and heard great things about the rest. (Is that really the official cover of Isla and the Happily Ever After? It’s so different from the rest of the series!) My favorite of book of 2012 is… ugh, darn I can’t choose. I guess it would be Eon? Yeah, definitely EON by Alison Goodman.
Happy New Year! And thanks for the giveaway!
My favourite book of 2012 would have to be a toss up between Shadow and Bone, The Fault in our Stars, Cinder and Quintana of Charyn. There are more but if forced, those would be the ones I’d pick.
I loved The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Angelfall by Susan Ee, and Crown of Embers by Rae Carson!
One of my favorites was Dreaming Awake by Gwen Hayes. Thanks for the chance to win!
one of my favorite was river road by suzanne johnson
happy new year
Insurgent! :) And Unspoken. :)
My favorite book of 2012 is without contest Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan. Oh, how much I loved this book !
(I love the Maggie Stiefvater reference. I always feel silly quoting her. But I won’t anymore. I’m not the only one!)
One of my favorites this year was the Raven Boys! i could not put it down and i am still thinking about the next installment!
But i’ve been dying to try to get my hands on Shadow and Bone! AHH! i keep hearing great things about it!
Amazing giveaway!
My favourite book this year was Insurgent by Veronica Roth. I absolutely love that series!
I really liked Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers and Seraphina by Rachel Hartman.
Good luck with your challenges! I am also doing DAC and the Goodreads one, although for that I’m being nowhere near as ambitious as you! Also I love that quote. That’s something all readers should take to heart.
Thanks for the giveaway! My favorites are probably Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Seraphina.
BORN WICKED by Jessica Spotswood was fabulous.
My favourite YA book was probably Insurgent by Veronica Roth.
The Fault in our Stars
either The Miseducation of Cameron Post or Ask the Passengers : )
Definitely Cinder. I was blown away by how unique it was!
Ugh, I totally understand about writing reviews right after! I really need to get better at doing this. Even if it’s just a rough draft, I think writing reviews will be so much easier if I stop procrastinating. Heh. Easier said than done. My favorite read: Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland. :)
My favourite book of 2012 was Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews.
It’s so hard to pick just one book. One of my favorites for 2012 was The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead.
This is Not a Test or My Life Next Door. :)
Grave Mercy and Valkyrie rising.
It was the absolutely amazing Night circus :)
thanks
Favorite book of 2012 is a hard one, but I think I’ll have to go with Cinder.
