Eva’s life is not her own. She is a creation, an abomination—an echo. Made by the Weavers as a copy of someone else, she is expected to replace a girl named Amarra, her “other”, if she ever died. Eva studies what Amarra does, what she eats, what it’s like to kiss her boyfriend, Ray. So when Amarra is killed in a car crash, Eva should be ready.

But fifteen years of studying never prepared her for this.

Now she must abandon everything she’s ever known—the guardians who raised her, the boy she’s forbidden to love—to move to India and convince the world that Amarra is still alive.

The main character is a copy and replacement for someone else? AWESOME. It sounds like this one will be full of delicious internal conflict which I love. I’m also very excited by the setting in India and the cover is really snazzy, too. I’ll definitely be pining away for this one!

What are you waiting on this week?

If you’re a regular to the blog, you may have noticed the lovely new layout I have. I was itching for something lighter and brighter for spring and my amazing friend, the super talented Britt, designed it. Hope you all love it as much as I do!

I have two giveaways going on at the moment so be sure to check those out:

  17. A copy of another girl? Damn. Your only purpose in life being someone else and never yourself. THAT HAS GOT TO SUCK. The emotion in this one is going to be positively wrenching with a premise like that.

AND STEPH. I <33333333 THE NEW LOOK. So pretty, fresh, and spring-y. :D

    Have an amazing reading week!

  18. This sounds nicely unique in the world of dystopian novels! I will be adding it to my TBR for sure.

    My WoW Pick

  19. I’m excited for the India setting too. Just so long as the author never resorts to portraying the entire country as snake charmers and dirty slums, that is.
