In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren that allows us to share the books we’ve received during the week via our purchases, review copies, library checkouts, borrowing from friends, etc.
Only two books this week, and I’ve already read both, but I love and adore them to pieces and they’re definitely in my top five reads from this year. So, so happy to have finished copies on my shelf!
• Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (purchased) – Read my review and enter for a signed copy here. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK. Also, random, but I made room for it on my desk shelf and it stands out from everything else because of its height. I may need to put it next to the Potters.
• The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson (purchased) – I loved this book something fierce as well, so I hope you check it out! My review is here.

Also, confession: Someone Like You is actually one of the few Sarah Dessen books I haven’t read yet. :O Shocking, I know. I’m really looking forward to it though. :)

I officially don’t have to kill you for getting my hopes up. I am LOVING DOSAB at the moment!! I don’t want to finish it because I just….. I don’t want to leave it. I don’t want it to end. Why does it have to end? :( And a spot next to the Potters? TOTALLY deserved! And I wouldn’t say that about any old book because HP is my whole childhood. And adulthood.
