Teaser poster! Teaser trailer! My levels of excitement for the American adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is at an all-time high. The red band trailer leaked over the weekend and, since then, I’ve watched the trailer oh, I don’t know, a few dozen times. Obsessed? Me? Never! Plus, extra bonus points for the Karen O vocals on the track!
Though Noomi Rapace made an amazing Lisbeth in the Swedish adaptation, I don’t quite understand the hype and praise for the film itself. In my opinion, it left a lot to be desired. I’m very excited to see what David Fincher, Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig and the rest of the cast bring to the table.

I am beyond excited as well! I agree about the Swedish version. I just hope they really go there and don’t try to sanitize it for an American audience.
